A network of locally-led Bible schools.
The New Life Association of Bible Schools (NLABS) facilitates Bible schools in partnership with church and ministry leaders who have not had the opportunity to be trained and equipped.
Built on partnership among local churches.
NLABS partners with local leaders who envision a Bible school aimed at training leaders from their own as well as other churches and ministries in their regions.
Although the program can be used by a single church, NLABS advises networking with other churches to establish a regional school. Learning together strengthens relationships, removes barriers between leaders and their churches, and turns teaching into a shared effort.
Four reasons the model works.
Prepare leaders
Encourage, strengthen, and prepare candidates for future ministry and for those already in ministry.
Strengthen relationships
Learning together strengthens relationships and removes barriers between leaders and their churches.
Enrich teaching
Teaching is enriched when multiple leaders share from their unique gifts and insights.
Lighten the load
By shared responsibility, preparing and teaching classes becomes a collective effort.
What NLABS provides — and what it doesn't.
NLABS provides the curriculum free of charge, as well as guidelines for establishing the Bible school. NLABS is not responsible for the operational costs of the school — that responsibility rests with the churches and ministries that support the vision at a local level.
