Bring a Bible school to your region.

If you see yourself as a candidate for an NLABS school and wish to partner with New Life Christian Center in establishing a school in your area, you can apply to begin the process.

Leadership

The Director.

Every school begins with a Director — the person who has the vision to start a Bible school, providing spiritual and practical leadership in establishing and overseeing it.

Qualifications

  • Already in ministry and supported through their own ministry.
  • Known to have a servant's heart toward God's leaders and the wider Body of Christ.
  • Able to lead with spiritual authority, combined with humility and a teachable spirit.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and relational skills for working with church and ministry leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the main teacher/trainer, preparing in advance for each session.
  • Maintains a strong relationship with NLABS.
  • Provides school leadership and oversight.
  • Identifies and involves others in teaching the material.
  • Encourages spiritual growth and academic excellence among students.
Structure

How a school is structured.

Structure adapts to each region's culture and conditions, built on a common foundation.

The school

  • Operates on the basis of in-person classes in a centralised location.
  • Establishes a small committee (no more than two others from the student body) to assist with administration and accountability.
  • Operational costs are carried by the students and the Director.

The students

  • Must be born-again believers with a basic understanding of Scripture.
  • Preferably already in a church leadership position, or deemed fit for future leadership.
  • Must have a teachable spirit and faithfully participate in all aspects of training.
Process

Steps to begin.

  1. Envision

    The Director discerns and owns the vision for a regional school.

  2. Network

    Approach local pastors and churches to invite them to participate.

  3. Apply

    Submit the application to partner with New Life Christian Center in establishing a school.

  4. Register

    Provide your school name, number of students, and start date — NLABS will issue a passcode for online course materials.

  5. Launch

    Begin in-person classes with the curriculum and guidelines NLABS provides.
